FastVeri™ Product Structure
Hardware/Software Co-Simulation Framework

FastVeri inlcudes: (1) C2SystemC
Converter that converts C code of the software to
the corresponding SystemC model with
timing information [*4] and (2) a profiling tool that
works together with C2SystemC and analyzes the logs
of the simulations with timing information to measure
cycles of the software executed on the target CPU,
hit and miss ratios of the cache, and so forth.
SystemC models generated with the back-annotation
tool are executable with the SystemC
reference simulator provided by OSCI and other commercially
available ones.
The target CPUs supported by the back-annotation tool
currently includes ARM7, ARM9, and ARM9E. Other processors
will be added one after another to the list as well.
Furthermore, the target compilers supported by the
back-annotation tool will be expanded similarly.
